Only downside IMO is the messy UI, especially if you don't really care about the media center stuff and just need a good video player. It even has features I've been wanting in madvr for litteral YEARS, like brightness limit for text-based subtitles in HDR. All working OUT OF THE BOX without hours of tinkering with settings I don't understand or care about. Bitstreaming, HDR Passthrough for my LGTV, DTM for my Sony PJ, framerate matching.

Especially madvr, which has been clearly discarded by madshi, even if he doesn't want to admit it, and relies on obscure tricks to work today.

I'm tired of this Rude Goldberg machine my HTPC has become with GPU drivers, OS, lav filters, MPC-BE and madvr all playing against each other. I've been waiting for a madvr alternative for a long time.
